I thought it was so adorable that you said “crap”. You bring a decency and respectability to Twitter that most of us are sorely lacking.

“Crap” is sometimes funner than “shit” for some ineffable reason. In other contexts, you’ve got to go with “shit.”

I don’t know why. No doubt W.H. Auden wrestled with the same dilemma.

I’ve always wondered why the word “apeshit” makes me laugh while the word “dogshit” makes my stomach turn.
