Braeden had pretty much mastered The House At Pooh Corner a full year before he started kindergarten.  He was almost two years away from losing his first tooth.
EDIT: I didn’t mean this as a “look how smart my kid is” post.  I was just trying to say that kids will read when they are interested and ready to do so, and I really doubt it has all that much to do with their orthodontic development .
